In the Catholic church. We believe that Christ is fully present in the Eucharistic: Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. It is something that makes us stand out against the sea of other Christian faiths. As we are one of the few that can trace our entire history directly to Christ and His apostles.
To take part in the Eucharistic is a powerful joy that is often taken for granted and sadly overlooked in this modern age. In part because so many do not consider bread and wine becoming flesh and blood. They see “communion” as something that is purely symbolic instead of a deep spiritual reality.
The Catholic church is one of the few that honor and accept that Christ is ever present. Honoring the words that are in the Gospel of John (chapter 6). We know this is true. We stand with those who remained with Christ. While others walked away.
It seems to be human nature to put limits on what God can do. For some it is a common theme. Such as bring up the saints that are still alive. Yet some Christians openly dismiss this. Or the many miracles that have been shown though out the history. With many more taking place even in this current age.
To deny the fullness of The Eucharist is to place human limits on what God can do in our lives. -
