A fun time!
Project displays are a lot of fun. They are also are a very intense experience for me. So many elements have to come together to make it happen. When I’m focused on doing the Lord’s work all of my energy goes into that. I enjoy talking to everyone who I meet. Getting to point out the important details that might get overlooked. Answering many questions that people have. While it takes a lot out of me. It is something that I very much enjoy doing. As I feel that I am answering the call that God is giving me.
The recent display in Midland, MI was amazing! Getting to visit the parish community and interact with the people. Getting that chance to talk to everyone about the build and about the ministry. Encouraging the children and their parents about the importance of using our talents for God. Along with sharing my passion for the faith. The love I have for Christ and this endless desire to share what God has given me! Each displays gives me much to learn and even more to reflect and pray on.
I was on TV!
On Nov 11th I was interviewed by the local CBS station WNEM. The story is very short but covered a bit of ground about my work for the last twenty-three years.
End of the Season?
I am still working out the details. But the final display for Season 23 is coming up fast. This will be over at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish in Saginaw. This usually starts around the first or second weekend of Advent.
Answering God’s Call
We are all called by God to share the faith. Using our talents in creative ways. Openly and boldly sharing the Gospel with those around us. Pray that God may open our hearts and allow ourselves to fully embrace that call in our lives.
