The older you get..
Sorry for the kind of late delay in posting. If you’ve been following me on twitter than you know about the prayer requests I’ve been sharing. It has been a challenging few weeks but God is very much with us even in the middle of the storm.
A lesson on ableism
The blog entry below is based on a bit of a debate I had with some people over on FB about “ableism”. It is a word that most have not heard before. Yet it is a word that those with disabilities have encountered many times. In fact it is a word that I never knew existed till I encountered it first hand during the pandemic.
In short ableism is pretty much discrimination and social prejudice against people with disabilities or who are perceived to be disabled. This word inspired a blog entry in which I talk about it.
Here I am on the radio!?
I’ve been on several of William Hemsworth’s various programs. He recently started a new one that is now on a radio network. The program is called Answering the Call. Worth checking out and please let me know what you think.

Irons in the fire..
Will share the details once I get them locked in. But their is a good chance I might be out at the north end of the Diocese of Saginaw (MI) early Sept for a single weekend. Please keep things in prayer as we have a lot of moving elements that have to some in to place.
Also please keep my family in prayer for a few important Private Intentions.
Closing number
We are always going to face storm in our life. For some we will stand at the top of the ship watching and feeling the waves tossing us around. Other times we will be hiding below decks holding on for dear life. They are not signs of strength or weakness of our faith in Christ. Rather it is a reminder of no matter how rough the seas get. Christ remains with us in the storm.
