News and notes
First off I want to say thanks to everyone who has subscribed. Means a lot to me that you are following along on this journey of evangelizing.
The past few weeks have seen a share of chaos due to some on going medical stuff in the family. While things are very much stable for now. We could always use those extra prayers.
Gladwin/Harrison display!
The first official Season 23 display is coming up! One weekend. Two parishes! Along with me giving a few talks!
Sept 10th (Sat) The Project will be at Scared Heart over in Gladwin, MI. Mass time is at 5pm. I believe we will be set up at the Parish hall for this one.
The next day on Sept 11th The Project will be over at St. Athanasius. Mass time is at 11am. Both events are tied into the parish kick off for Faith Formation. So long with the usual display elements I’ll be being a small talk and we will be having a Q and A. Please come out and support the parish!
For more information please check out their Facebook Page! That will have the important details including the address.
If you didn’t get to see The Project while I have it set up in Saginaw Township? Don’t worry! After this display I will have The Project set back up in my apartment complex till the next event in mid Oct.
Next display?
Still working out the details but around the second weekend in Oct we will be heading out. Things are still being sorted out and could be subject to change.
A reflection
During the more recent stuff in the family. I had a chance to do a bit of reflecting and praying. I turned that into a small blog post that I wrote about a month ago. Felt it was worth sharing. Storms and chaos will always exist.
Spotlight: The Geekdom Come
I don’t tend to follow a lot of web comics anymore. However lately I’ve been reading Thy Geekdom Come. It is a rather amusing comic strip that is way more spot on than most realize. Full of bits and reality within the Catholic faith. Strongly encourage everyone to at least give it a look! You don’t see a lot of good and decent web comics anymore. This one? One of the good ones!
