The Lego Church Project, Season 24, is still at Christ The Good Shepherd Parish in Saginaw, MI. I have a lot more details in the previous issue. Along with a bit of the back story behind the display in a blog article. This display runs till at least mid Jan. Please come on out and say hello! This display will be the last chance to see the current build before I tear it down for the year!
A Few Bits and Bricks
With The final Season 24 display going on. It’s time for me to start turning my attention on to Season 25’s build. Current plan (subject to change) is to start work around the first weekend of Feb and be ready for displays Mid March. Though in the past it’s rare for to have a parish take me up on that time frame. Though historically first displays haven’t happened until late April or even May.
Most of the overall goals for Season 25 remain the same. Trying to secure at least five or six parishes that would like to host me and my work. Those displays could include presentations. Right now I’m thinking about putting more of a focus in those presentations on the prayerful aspect of my work. Given the history and the fact that prayer is the true foundation of my work.
One of the other ideas that I have is having a longer form presentation that could be recorded and shared with others. This would also include a question and answer secession. I would need some exta help in doing that. As my resouces and abilities are very limited.
Seeking Help for Displays!
At some point people will come up to me and suggest a parish to bring the project out to. Due to me not being able to drive or having extra transportation I can’t just reach out to a parish on my own. I have to be invited.
So this where I need help. If you have a parish that you think I should visit. Please let the parish leadership know about what I’m doing and why I’m doing it. Let them know about the transportation needs and that I don’t charge for doing this. That way if the parish is lead by the Holy Spirit they will reach out to me.
I go into far more details about this in “Displaying The Project?” so please let people know about my work and perhaps the Lord will open some doors for Season 25. I will go where the Lord willing to send me. I just need the Lord to point me in the right direction.
Good Distinctions interview
Recently I was interviewed by Will Wright of Good Distinctions. Had a wonderful time talking about various things related to faith, prayer, and of course The Project.
